The last way is i actually use, when i can't remember his name, i use tags to identify the type of information. And this is a texon that is, it's well established. But whether it's a fact, a concept, a principle, it's a process or procedure. So it's just a simple taxonomy.)

(highlight:: Work v.s. Meta Work: A Thin Line Between Productive Procrastination and Actually Getting Things Done
Key takeaways:
• A distinction exists between work and meta work in productivity where meta work is time spent working on the systems that allow work to happen.
• Spending too much time on meta work can hinder productivity and lead to excessive tool tinkering rather than getting actual work done.
• The pkm community emphasizes personal knowledge management and some individuals may spend an excessive amount of time creating intricate systems rather than focusing on actual work.
• It is important to be mindful of the balance between work and meta work to ensure productivity and avoid stumbling over excessive tool tinkering.

The reason i ask that is that i make a distinction between what i call work and meta work. And work is the work of thinking or researching, or you now get getting things done. And then meta work is working on the systems that allow you to do the work. And one of the risks that is inherent in all this stuff is that we can end up spending more time, or a lot of time, doing metal work, relative to the work that's getting done, right? And the phrase that people use for this is productivity. Pron you noike this notion that we're fiddling around with tools, right, rather than than actually getting stuff done. And i'm wondering if that, and i say that because you also mention the p k m community. And p m, i think, means personal knowledge management, ye. And one of the things that i've always been a little weary of is that in working with systems like obsidian or rome research, or some folks are using notion. I sometimes go on, you to to learn how to use these tools better, and i see these folks who are spendingke an inordinate amount of time creating these incredibly barokue systems, reer Ye, and then taking notes about how they're taking notes, at which point i'm like, well, you know, but is it really, you know, like i can put myself in their shoes and think, well, would I be actually doing work here, or would i be working on the tools? And that's a line that i'm always very care fto not kind of stumble over.)
