(highlight:: There are two great lines I tend to think about regarding Grass is Greener
The Grass is Greener where you tend it. (if you were to put the work into your marriage that you are into your fantasy, maybe it would improve. This would take communication and effort on both your parts. Marriage is often work, but is worth it.)
The Grass is Greener because of the bullshit. (often you are only seeing the highlight reel of the other person. You don't see the downsides, the negatives, and the annoying little things. You focus on those for your husband though since you have known him so long. When you have your fantasy, even if you didn't have marriage problems, you would likely still never find someone who could meet those expectations 24/7)
Work on yourself and your marriage or end it. Even a bad husband deserves a chance to know what is wrong and to see about fixing it. After all, you do love him right?)
