I have adhd and can also be LL. For me it stems from lack of enthusiasm from a partner or basic boring sex. I need spontaneous and fun sex. I need a partner can match my energy and be a switch. If I don’t have that I can’t become aroused.

My LL wife has ADHD, and she has specifically called it out as one of her barriers to having sex. She's said that it's very difficult for her to get and stay in the mood for sex because her brain is going a million miles an hour and there are so many intrusions and distractions, such as her chore to-do list, or something she needs to take care of at work tomorrow. One of the only ways to quiet her racing mind is to drink, which means that we generally only have sex on nights that we drink a lot, which isn't ideal for me either.
